Hannah Braunstein, LICSW is an individual and couples psychotherapist, specializing in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Mindfulness. She works with adults and adolescents. For several years, Hannah has focused her clinical expertise on trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem issues and shame, simple and complex PTSD, anxiety and depression, and dissociation.
Hannah holds two master’s degrees from Washington University in St. Louis with a clinical focus on mental health and completed her undergraduate work in cultural anthropology at Cornell University.
Hannah is a licensed psychotherapist and certified EMDR practitioner. She has completed master and advanced master level training in complex trauma through the EMDR Institute, as well as consultation with Deany Laliotis. Hannah continues to gain clinical expertise in empirically supported trauma treatment, attachment, neuroscience, and mindfulness and meditation practices. In her commitment to personal and professional growth and to new developments in theory and practice, Hannah continues to train in body-focused and transformational approaches, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP).
